Red Dust Labs respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use a Red Dust Labs application, device, website or tracking service, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Depending on the Red Dust Labs application or device being used, we may collect:

• Location information, including latitude, longitude, altitude, direction, speed and location timestamps.
• Device information, including a device identifier, device type, display name and software or hardware details.
• Tracking and telemetry information, which may include GPS accuracy, satellite information, battery status, charging status, odometer information and connectivity data.
• Account and authentication information where access to a Red Dust Labs service requires a user account.
• Technical information used to operate and secure the service, such as access times, IP addresses, application errors and diagnostic information.

How location information is used

Location information is used to provide the core tracking features of Bash Odometer and AlphaTrack. This may include displaying a device or vehicle on a map, showing location history and trails, calculating movement information, displaying the last known position, and supporting safety, navigation or operational features requested by the user.

Some applications may collect location information while operating in the background where this is necessary to provide continuous tracking. Background location access is used only for features that require location updates when the application is not actively displayed.

How we use information

Information collected by Red Dust Labs may be used to:

• Provide location tracking and mapping features.
• Maintain device and vehicle location history.

AlphaTrack/Bash Odometer services use cloud-hosted infrastructure to store and process tracking information. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Data retention

Tracking and device information is retained for as long as reasonably required to provide the service, maintain useful location history, meet operational requirements, resolve technical issues or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the application, device, service configuration or purpose for which the information was collected.

Your choices and rights

You may control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent some or all tracking features from operating correctly.

You may contact Red Dust Labs to request information about data associated with you or your device, or to request correction or deletion where applicable.

Children's privacy

AlphaTrack or Bash Odometer is not directed at children under the age required to provide consent in their jurisdiction. Red Dust Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent or authorisation.

Third-party services

AlphaTrack/Bash Odometer may use third-party mapping, hosting, networking and infrastructure services. Those providers may process limited technical information as required to deliver their services and may have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will remain available at this address, and the date at the top of the policy will indicate when it was most recently updated.
